Wore this on a windy 40-mile ride and the windproof front panel made a real difference, no chill creeping through at all. It breathes way better than my old shell too, so I'm not soaked underneath by the end.

The updated panelling really does make a difference, it breathes well on climbs but still blocks the wind on descents. Got caught in a light shower and stayed dry the whole way home.

I was skeptical about the breathable panelling claim, but after a chilly morning commute where I'd normally overheat, this thing actually regulated my temp. The windproof front kept the gusts off my chest without feeling like a plastic bag. Showerproof enough for a drizzle too.
