Wore this under my helmet on a 40-degree morning ride and my neck stayed warm the whole time without any bulk bunching up at the collar. It tucks right into my base layer system and I barely notice it's there until I stop and realize the cold isn't getting in.

The fit is snug without feeling tight, and I can pull it up over my chin or down to my neck depending on the wind. It really does trap the warmth from my base layer, so I don't get that icy draft down my collar anymore.
